Recycling and Waste Management

The costs of disposing of waste can be significant to a business and also detrimental to the environment.  The best practice therefore is to reduce the amount of waste a business produces.  For a number of years HHCC Ltd has been using recycling services for the following materials:

Paper, glass, cardboard, tetra-packs, oil, plastic, aluminium cans and confidential waste, metal waste.
These processes are continually monitored and we ask our guests to participate with our recycling efforts where possible

Energy and Water
In accordance with Good Practice, HHCC Ltd will monitor the use of energy and water and will provide information on the actual use and cost of energy/ water by the business.  This allows us to continually review where we are with energy so we can reduce usage targets in future.
HHCC Ltd has trained staff members in the reduction of the above named practices and we try and educate all of our guests so they are aware of our aims.  This is simply done by a brief mention at the reception talk, information in brochures/ website, plus we have notes in our bathrooms regarding, water usage and use of electricity supply.  Likewise our suppliers are screened according to our environment policy.
